We In The House: Volume II-UAES Album Review

There are so many artists that say they have a love for hip-hop and anime but it’s still a lane in the hip-hop genre that is still very young. The New Chicago Wave has been bringing up a lot of creatives that are not only able to do that and more, but they are pioneering a new lane in the music scene/industry through that very same lens. The artists Tendo Payne, Khiry Managan, & General Spazz are really onto something that is powerful and necessary music wise and we are here for it..

Tendo Payne, Khiry Managan, & General Spazz on their own are phenomenal artists that are manifesting some powerful sounds and concepts already. Together however, they truly are a force that can’t be stopped. This new album is a powerful example of this..

“We In The House Volume II” is one of the best fusions of hip-hop production and wordplay and anime references we have seen in a long time. The interludes really help the listener get into the world that these awesome artists have created. You really are given a good look into what a anime could look like from their perspective and we for what these artists got next..

Our favorite records to play are “Sweatsuit”, “What You Know About God” “Space is the Place” ft Courtney, and “Wolf Season”..

Take a look and let us know what you think..
