The Hunger Era-UAES Album Review

D2x has been very focused on the music and how he shows up all year and he’s been having an amazing time doing it. From appearances on Rap Radar, Complex, interviews with the music curator Elsie & so many others D2x has been very focused on putting out the best music possible and letting the world know ain’t many in his lane. He just had his first headlining tour earlier this year which was received very well, and with dropping a project earlier this year D2x has been true to every promise he made to himself and the world since last year. With this new album he continues to build more into his amazing catalog..

“The Hunger Era” is a powerful 7 record project that has gritty bar play, witty skits, very crisp sounding production from Gold Haze & Ro Moore, and very impressive song structure. The high level of story telling on this project and the personality that D2x shows on this project is very on par with his focus on being one of the leading emcees coming from Chicago. With each record he touches on his personal journeys with his own growth as a human being and artist and how he is just getting started with showing the world what he is capable of. With features from only Chris Patrick, & Ausar and multiple super hero references this project is exactly what D2x’s fans wanted from him. He makes sure that the listener is tuned in to every perspective he puts on this body of work and reminds everyone that again, he’s just getting started..

Our favorite records to play in the office are “THE ART OF HUNGER”, “Fire”, “BE (HOME)”, & “MARVEL” FT Ausar. Take a listen and let us know what you think..
