Healed Hoochie: Jada Pack-UAES EP Review

Nakara Forje is an emcee that doesn’t settle for anything but her very best when it comes to the art she is capable of. Her flows are extremely hard hitting while they have a confidence that you either will love or find a problem with, but you will have to deal with her, that’s all there is to it. She has been hard at work all year giving the city her roll out and we finally have another project from her that we have on replay in our office..

The EP “Healed Hoochie,Jada Pack” is boom bap fused with neo-soul vocals and bars that really focus on how uplifting the black woman and embracing her depths is so important for the future of our society. With the icon Jada Pinkett Smith being the inspiration of this project Forje reminds us that just like her she and all black women should be able to make their own life paths, no matter who is not comfortable with it. Forje is so honest with her own experiences with dating and growing from decisions she’s made that it’s nothing but surreal. This project is art coming from a emcee that isn’t afraid to be vulnerable and yet still no nonsense about her future and how she is allowing herself to heal..

Our favorite records to play in our office is “Red Table Talk”, & “Woo”..

Take a listen and let us know what you think..
