CantBuyDeem is an individual that represents so much to the Chicago creative and organizing scene. His ability to speak on topics that hit real close to home while also doing that in his own unique and powerful way is why he has garnered so much praise for his creative and community efforts.

“Reality Raps” is truly an amazing body of work for the simple reason it embodies so much of Chicago’s creative community on so many levels. From the powerful production coming from the legendary onGaud productions, & uaes fav Hayward. To the phenomenal features on the album like Tiara Deshane, Nosferatu Nephilim, & MfN Melo. There’s truly so much to say about this album.

The project itself speaks on what it means to attempt thearpy not because there’s something wrong but because mental health is not uplifted in blk and brown communities and that must change. The way Deem paints this picture of necessary self-love and progression is one of the many reasons he is one of the leading artists in this city right now. Our favorite record from this project has to be “Red Bottoms” ft Tiara Deshane not only because it has production from onGaud productions but the scenario Deem creates is something not many can relate to but for the ones that can it’s even more graphic and realistic.Make sure you take a listen to this amazing album and also support his film release that will be taking place May 24th!
