SZA gives us a big one with “SOS Deluxe: LANA

SZA is a pioneer of the RnB alternative genre and this is some of her best work that she has put out in the last couple of years with every release she has been doing. Her confidence and creative foundation is shown very well as she has been not only putting out some of the most relative and most vulnerable records she can, but she has been working hard to expand her talents across the globe even more. With a new movie on the way and even more music coming SZA is having fun and letting her very best show and we are loving it. Understand every move that SZA has been making lately is reflecting the amazing place she is in mentally and the music has been just as amazing. The Top Dawg Entertainment artist is creating a lane in the industry right now that can’t be duplicated but only watched and studied. This album release is proof that SZA is one of the most equipped song writers and vocalists out right now..

“SOS Deluxe:LANA” comes as the deluxe version of the previous released “SOS” and it’s truly a work of art. Every record has very skilled song writing, timeless melodies & harmonies that shows so much vulnerability from the amazing artist it’s very easy to forget that SZA has been creating music at this level for years and has never been the one to back down from showing what she is truly capable of. The features on this album are only a small example of how much of a student SZA is of the genre she is apart of and every musical inspiration she pulls from. She has created a album that has the no skips ability and can just be left on repeat. The structure of each record SZA has put forth is so well done and leaves no moments one can predict which is something we truly appreciate. The level of aggressiveness, calmness, being unbothered, and mystery that comes all in this album is to be uplifted and enjoyed..

Our favorite records to play in the office are “Kitchen”, “No More Hiding”, “Saturn”, “Ghost in the Machine” ft Phoebe Bridgers, & “Forgiveless” ft Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Take a look and let us know what you think..
