J. Arthur Releases The Smooth “sweet one(s) EP

J.Arthur is one those artists that has nothing but smooth delivery for how he does his music. Him being the second half of the legendary duo theWhoEvers first of all is something to understand and not take lightly because of just how much his sound and flow has inspired the Chicago music scene/industry for the past twenty years. This artist is no rookie to creating records that are hard hitting with the bars and yet can be played at almost any occasion. J.Arthur deserves his flowers for just how multi layered his sound is and has impacted Chicago. Some of your favorites have been inspired by this emcee, producer, and creative and he is really just being himself. With an announcement of his next album “pang” on the way this new project he has released in the mean time shows his evolution of sound and overall artistry. And it sounds like he is just getting started..

“sweet one(s)” is a well put together six record project that is a foundation of remixes, demos, covers, amazing original song writing, smooth harmonies and melodies that bring out the best in the just produced records on this body of work, making for an amazing project to listen to without no skips. J.Arthur hasn’t put out a project since 2022, just singles that all reveal this new sound coming from the artist that is very impressive and very original for the artist. Even more so this is a RnB/Soul effort coming from the artist, and it doesn’t disappoint at all. Each record has an almost velvet silk vibe to it while you can hear the smooth structures of hip-hop the artist is known for and neo-soul all throughout this project. To say this is an amazing new lane for J.Arthur while at the same time it’s very expected of an artist of his caliber is saying still too little to describe just how phenomenal Arthur really is..

Our favorite records to play in the office are “innalood ft Papa Chico”, “bitch”, & kiss and tell (arthur tenebaum,s dutty version). Take a listen and let us know what you think..
